it began with a vision that would not let go.
“When visions take hold sometimes they consume me. I cannot let it go, it becomes me.” -Jazz Benitez
Jazz grew up in Southern California, where their family encouraged a creative mind and a gentle heart. As life shook this narrative, Jazz found themselves in the Midwest by 2010. Throughout their 20s, they searched for purpose, eventually rediscovering their artistry at 26 and leaning deeply into their community.
Jazz’s personal creative pursuits lean on spiritual human connection and shared experiences. Their work is found not only in the art they create, but in the community they help build. Working closely with Parker Lane Art & Design Studio, Live Oak Coffeehouse, Creative 360, The Breaking Bread Village, and Public Arts Midland, Jazz finds purpose in the service of others. Their mission is to honor the truth of our human experiences with kindness, empathy, and compassion.
